DOROTHY SIMPSON KRAUSE b. Massachusetts
Dorothy Krause is a painter, collage artist and printmaker who incorporates digital mixed media in her art. Her work is exhibited regularly in galleries and museums and featured in more than three dozen current periodicals and books. She is Professor Emeritus at Massachusetts College of Art where she founded the Computer Arts Center.
She received a Doctor of Education in Art Education from Pennsylvania State University in 1968, and a Master of Arts in Art Education from the University of Alabama, in 1962. A Bachelor of Arts in Painting was received from Montevallo University in Alabama in 1960. Krause visited Littleton Studios with the Digital Atelier in 1998 where she began the "Heartland" series, a suite which also included prints by Karin Schminke and Bonny Lhotka.
In 2004 Krause's work was featured in a solo exhibition titled "Fragile Beauty" at Judi Rotenberg Gallery in Boston Massachusetts.

The basis for Miss Molly was two pages scanned from an 1859 memory book of May Harvey, Harvey Littleton's aunt.

Prints are shipped flat. Shipping and handling adds $35 to the price of the print.

Shipment and returns: Your print will be shipped as soon as we receive payment. Each print comes with a documentation sheet that certifies the materials used in making the print and the number of prints and proofs in the edition, along with other important information.
If you are not satisfied with your purchase return it within seven days of receipt in the packaging in which it was sent. The Littleton Collection will refund the purchase price on undamaged merchandise.
